  • Gary Oldman, Mark Hamil, and More Headline Star Citizen's Story Mode Cast

    As part of the CitizenCon 2015 event, a new trailer was released for Star Citizen's Squadron 42 single player campaign. The trailer, seen below, features a virtual Gary Oldman giving a powerful speech in front of an audience.

    Also filling out the cast are Wing Commander alum Mark Hamil and John Rhys-Davies. The Wing Commander franchise was a well received series of space combat simulation games that Robert Space Industries' Chris Roberts was a game designer for along with being a creative director.

      Gillian Anderson? Oh wow, figured she was done with voice acting in games after Hellbender (also another Sci-Fi game).

    No beta, no alpha, no end in sight.

    It seems as though another year will pass without so much as a new glimpse at Squadron 42, the single player component for Star Citizen from Cloud Imperium Games. CIG showed off its revised roadmap last week and with it came a full deletion of any Squadron 42 beta.
