  • Sales Figures: Grand Theft Auto V at 52 Million, Evolve at 2.5 Million, and More from Take-Two

Take-Two released their financial reports for FY 2015 today. According to their reports, it seems as though Rockstar Games struck gold and oil at the same time with Grand Theft Auto V.

According to Take-Two, GTA V has sold nearly 52 million units across the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. Evolve seems to have had a decent release as well, having sold 2.5 million units so far. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection sales exceeded expectations. The franchise has hit 25 million units sold in total, with 8 million sales coming in FY 2015. WWE 2K15 sold nearly 3 million units, up 40% compared to WWE 2K14 in the same time frame.

Take-Two also outlined some of their future titles and when we can expect to see them. This includes WWE 2K16 in late October, Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth - Rising Tide expansion this Fall, NBA 2K16 also this Fall, and Battleborn in early 2016.

Wow that is a lot of GTA V sales! I hope it means they will fix the matchmaking and online issues, but they probably won't.
Would like to see RDR come to PC, and would absolutely LOVE to see Max Payne 4 (this time without the multiplayer problems too)
