A new report by Alt-Tab (vis DSOGaming) says that the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V is running nicely at 60fps. The problem is, details about the computer specs that was running the PC version of the game were not yet revealed.
This may be good news for fans, depending on what the hardware configuration looks like, especially after the launch of Grand Theft Auto IV on the PC. Remember that? Remember how horribly it ran for quite some time after launch? Yeah, that sucked.
Even without knowing the hardware being used, there is still some added good news here. Allegedly, the team that handled the PC version of Max Payne 3 is handling the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. For those who may not remember, the PC release of Max Payne 3 was fantastic. It performed very well and looked great right out of the gate.
Feel free to take the report with a grain of salt while remaining cautiously optimistic that the wait will be worth it for Grand Theft Auto V on the PC.

A little over a year ago I provided a review for the single player portion of Grand Theft Auto V for the Xbox 360. In it, not a detail was spared as I shared my praises and complaints about the game.
