  • PlayStation 4 Hit 4.2 Million Units Sold in 2013

    In a bit of a move to "one up" the competition, Sony revealed today that they sold 4.2 million PlayStation 4 units as of December 28, 2013. This follows the news from Microsoft, where they said they sold 3 million Xbox One consoles in 2013.

    Sony dropped this rather unsurprising bomb on those in attendance at its CES 2014 keynote today. This also follows news from "earlier" in 2013 that the company sold 2.1 million PS4 units by early December.

        CD Projekt Red shares that sales of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has now surpassed 60 million copies sold since its release. The reveal comes as part of the company's latest financial report. It also comes right as the game is celebrating 10 years of availability, having originally been released in May 2015.
