As a quick reminder: Microsoft plans to spend $190 billion on AI in 2026. In 2025, the company spent $80 billion...

Sony attempts to justify this move by claiming it's a "natural direction" in order to "adapt to consumer trends as the general preference for digital media significantly outpaces physical discs."...

This is Diablo 4 at its best. I mean it this time. For real.

Returning to the world of Sanctuary for this latest chapter feels like a true homecoming for those of us who have spent hundreds of hours traversing its dark and unforgiving landscapes since the base game launched back in 2023. Dread it, run from it, savings arrive all the same.

It's that time of year again. The time of the year where snow... Well, snow should be falling but global warming would rather give us unseasonably high temperatures. It's also the time of year where gifts are given and exchanged in a ritual ceremony known as Christmas. Yep, it's the holiday season again and that means it's time for the big Steam Winter Sale.

Valve says that there are over 50,000 games and pieces of content...

Valve Confirms There Won't be Steam Deck Exclusive Games

    Well, duh.

In the newly updated FAQ page for their upcoming Steam Deck, Valve says that they are not interested in developers making Steam Deck exclusive titles. This startling revelation should really come as no surprise to anybody who has been paying attention to what the Steam Deck is for any length of time. It is, after all, merely a handheld PC.

Valve's remarks about this came about during a recently Steamworks Steam Deck event where developers and publishers asked...

Valve's Steam Deck Delayed by 2 Months

Those damned global chip shortages strike again!

Valve just passed along some unfortunate news today concerning the Steam Deck. Due to "global supply chain issues" the Steam Deck release has been pushed back by two months. The earliest Steam Deck will begin shipping has shifted from December 2021 to February 2022.

If reading the words "global supply chain issues" wasn't enough, I'll be more clear here. There is a big chip shortage that has been going...

Valve Announces Steam Sale Dates for the Rest of 2021

Valve just out here confirming the dates before leakers can do it.

Usually, we don't get any sort of an official Steam sale announcement until just prior to it happening. In fact, we usually get people leaking those...

    by Shawn Zipay
Make up your own definition of "complete."

Was 2025 a big year for game completions for you, or were you more of a "stick to one never-ending, live-service game for the entire year" sort of player?

For this, you can take whatever definition you want as a game "completion." Beat the main story? Earned 100% of the game's achievements? Or simply played enough that you're satisfied with what you accomplished and have no plans to return any time...
