Valve just out here confirming the dates before leakers can do it.

I hope your wallets and your free time are ready for sales, because there are a bunch of them coming. Of course, there are always a ton of sales that fire up through digital storefronts around this time of year, and Steam is certainly no exception to that.

Usually, we don't get any sort of an official Steam sale announcement until just prior to it happening. In fact, we usually get people leaking those dates before Valve ever utters a peep about them. Not this time! Valve is getting out ahead of the leaks and just spilling the beans on the Steam sales that will take place through the end of 2021.

The next sale is the Steam Halloween Sale and it begins this Thursday and runs through Monday, November 1, 2021. Then is the Steam Autumn Sale and finally the big ol' Steam Winter Sale.

• Steam Autumn Sale: Nov 24 - 30, 2021
• Steam Winter Sale: Dec 22, 2021 - Jan 5, 2022

You probably already know what to expect with these sales by now. There probably won't be anything terribly new or exciting here. They're just a nice way to save some money on games you've been eyeing up but thought were just too expensive prior to being discounted.

Of course, you may want to add a bunch of games to your list if you're picking up the Steam Deck. Those start releasing to the public pretty soon while Valve continues to work on their new Steam Deck Verified system to check for compatibility.
