Rockstar Now Has Their Own PC Games Launcher

Get GTA: San Andreas for free if you use it.

Rockstar now has their own game launcher on the PC. The development studio quietly released this new launcher a short time ago today. They are attempting to entice users to download and use the installer by giving away a free copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for a limited time.

Interesting enough, the Rockstar Games Launcher includes some features that took other launchers a little bit of time to add after release. This launcher includes cloud save support, a shop, and automatic updates. The prices on the store seem to...

Watch Almost an Hour of Death Stranding Gameplay

A lot of gameplay footage that may finally provide a lot of answers.

The marketing for the Kojima Productions game, Death Stranding, has left consumers with more questions than answers. It's a game from the mind of Hideo Kojima, so of course the marketing was going to be odd. The problem was, there are a lot of people that just have no idea about what the game was even about even after the numerous trailers.

Maybe sitting down and watching 50 minutes of gameplay will help clear up that confusion. If that doesn't work, then maybe a breakdown of the gameplay footage from...

Final Fantasy VII Remake Tokyo Game Show 2019 Trailer

The trailer is at the bottom after these boring words.

Square Enix showed off an all new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake this week at the Tokyo Game Show. The new trailer offers a fresh look at gameplay, the slums of Midgar, and a peak at the mini-games and summons. Midgar is home to the Shinra Electric Power Company. This kind of totally evil company is in conflict with Avalanche, a resistance group fighting to keep their planet alive. You will also get your first look at some of the Shinra operatives known as The Turks.

Square Enix also included their new artwork...

Cube World is Coming to Steam

Let me take you back to the year 2013...

In 2013, a little game called Cube World came out in an "alpha" release. It was a cute, stylized adventure-RPG that offered a ton of freedom, battles, exploration, and more. A big appeal of the alpha was being able to have all of these adventures with your friends in one world. To its credit, the limited content of the alpha was quite enjoyable but the promise of bigger and better was always just around the corner. The problem came when it was just never updated! Eventually the developer went dark.

We would sometimes...

  • Swords and Souls: Neverseen RPG Released Today

Swords and Souls: Neverseen RPG Released Today

Out on Steam, GOG, and Humble.

Armor Games Studios and the small development team at SoulGame Studio just released their new combat-driven RPG, Swords & Souls: Neverseen. The game, available now for $14.99 (USD) on Steam, GOG, and Humble takes a lot of what fans enjoyed about the first Swords & Souls, and both refines it and adds to it here in Neverseen. The first game is apparently one of the highest rated web games of all time on Kongregate and Armor Games, with some 20 million players over its lifetime.

The game is single-player focused and combines both real-time...

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be released in 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot announcement came just...

QuakeCon 2019 is All About DOOM

    DOOOOOOOOM!

This year's QuakeCon event is all about DOOM. From the keynote to the panels, it's all DOOM all the time. Well, maybe not all the time, but DOOM is a very significant portion of this year's focus at QuakeCon.

Appropriately, this year's QuakeCon is literally being called "QuakeCon: Year of DOOM." It all begins on July 25 when QuakeCon begins at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. And yes, once again they will host the largest BYOC LAN event in North America if you're into that.

For those who cannot make it to QuakeCon for...

  • New Device Allows the N64 to Connect to Modern Televisions

New Device Allows the N64 to Connect to Modern Televisions

For those who like retro games on retro hardware.

I received an email today about a new device that allows those that still own their Nintendo 64 to connect it to a modern television without much issue. This means that you don't need to keep a CRT around for those times when you want to play Nintendo 64 games.

The device is called the EON Super 64. It's supposedly a "first-of-its kind" device that allows you to plug-and-play your Nintendo 64 to modern TVs and monitors. It's being sold by CastleMania Games, through Amazon, and other retailers.

    The...

Law Firm Investigating Grounds for 'Joy-Con Drift' Class-Action Lawsuit

    There's a lawsuit a brewin'.

A law firm in the States are apparently getting ready to file a class-action lawsuit against Nintendo. The potential lawsuit stems from the growing anger over "Joy-Con drift" issues that have plagued the Nintendo Switch controllers since launch.

If you don't know what Joy-Con drift is, Kotaku actually put up an article about this growing problem just this past week. In short, it's when the Switch detects movement from a stick that the player may not even be touching. For example: If the right stick controls the camera, you may notice...

Sumo Digital Partners with 2K on Mysterious Projects

Nobody knows what the plans are yet.

This may not be the most exciting of announcements, but it does warrant some attention. Sumo Digital announced that they are currently working with 2K Games on some unannounced projects. Sumo Digital revealed that this development will take place at their Sheffield Studio and the recently acquired Red Kite Games.

Sumo Digital has a number of developed games under their belt. Recent releases include Crackdown 3, Snake Pass, Team Sonic Racing, and they are apparently still working on Dead Island 2. Dead Island 2 was first announced...
