Starting January 2028, Sony will no longer produce physical discs for new PlayStation game releases. All games released in January 2028 and after will be available only through digital stores such as the PlayStation Store.

Sony attempts to justify this move by claiming it's a "natural direction" in order to "adapt to consumer trends as the general preference for digital media significantly outpaces physical discs."...

Asus to Enter Mobile PC Market with ROG Ally

The handheld PC market continues to grow.

The idea of a mobile or handheld PC isn't exactly new. Valve didn't create that market when they announced and released the Steam Deck, but the Deck is perhaps the most well-known device in that hardware category. Now, Asus is getting into the handheld gaming market with their newly announced ROG Ally.

Asus chose April Fools to be the day when they made the announcement, but it's going to be a very real device. You can already...

Counterpoint: WWE 2K20: Glitches, Jabronis, and Wasted Money

As a highly educated and experienced medical professional with several degrees in the field, I must say that I strongly disagree with the negative outlook towards the video game WWE 2K20 as outlined in the previous article titled "WWE 2K20: Glitches, Jabronis, and Wasted Money." The article argues that the numerous glitches and bugs present in the game render it a complete waste of money, and goes on to suggest that the time and resources spent on it could be better utilized elsewhere....

    by Shawn Zipay
Make up your own definition of "complete."

Was 2025 a big year for game completions for you, or were you more of a "stick to one never-ending, live-service game for the entire year" sort of player?

For this, you can take whatever definition you want as a game "completion." Beat the main story? Earned 100% of the game's achievements? Or simply played enough that you're satisfied with what you accomplished and have no plans to return any time...
