  • First Ever Teaser Image for Call of Duty 2014

Sledgehammer Games, during their GDC 2014 panel, revealed the first-ever look at the 2014 release of Call of Duty. It's not much, but it's all that we have right now. IGN has the image, seen below, that shows off "actual in-game characters."

According to Activision, the game is targeting "next-gen first," which I assume to mean the current-gen consoles of Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Next-gen consoles are still a few years out.

      Wow, soldiers and everything!

Why no women soldiers on the teaser picture? Thats sexist!

I also heard IGN went ahead and gave it a 10/10.

It's like I just read every comment about this game for the next 8 months all at once with your reply.

Edit: Hold on! You forgot to remark about how it's still the Quake 3 engine. So close. So very close.

The Best in Gaming 2014 - Part 1
    by Shawn Zipay
It's Christmas Eve and that can only mean one thing: I've been drinking. It also means that I put off writing my "best of" entry until the worst possible moment.

Let's face it, 2014 pretty much sucked in almost every aspect for the gaming industry. This was one of the few years where the "good" was the rarity. Thankfully, there was some good to be found. There were still some great games released and some really fantastic treats for gaming fans and the industry at large. Be...
