DICE and Electronic Arts will no longer offer any sort of support for Battlefield Hardline on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Come Friday, May 22, Battlefield Hardline will be removed from the digital storefronts for these platforms.
A month later on June 22, the online services for Battlefield Hardline on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be taken down. It is assumed that the single player campaign for Battlefield Hardline will still be playable after that date.
Those still playing, or those planning to play, Battlefield Hardline on PC will have nothing to worry about for now. Electronic Arts notes that this removal of the game from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has no impact on the PC version of the game. Battlefield Hardline will continue to be available for purchase and will continue to be playable online on PC for the foreseeable future.
Speaking of the PC version of the game, it apparently still retails for $39.99. I actually went to check to see if it was maybe on sale as part of the Steam Spring Sale or even EA's own Spring Into Play sale, but it's not. Other Battlefield titles are on sale, but not Battlefield Hardline. Hell, EA put Battlefield 2042, Battlefield V, Battlefield 1, and Battlefield 4 all on sale for -95% off.
