The listing at the retailer still exists, however the description has been removed to simply say that it is a "multiplayer tactical shooter."
A Twitter user, Doctor_Cupcakes, seems to be the person that first discovered the initial listing. The original image with the old description can be found below.

Verdun was the latest attempt at a WW1 shooter, by restricting itself to infantry trench warfare it lined up with peoples ideas of the war, to have people driving around making ragdolls flip about in typical Battlefield style is another thing.
I would love to see them give a take at that though, wonder what kind of improvements would they bring.
They would have to make their death physics even better and the feel of shooting, specifically bolt action weapons, pretty god damn satisfying since thats what should mostly be used.
Also, WWI battles where mostly on very open fields, so I don't see a lot of margin for building destruction or any "levolution" (not that I care about the latter so much though), so It would be interesting to see them play more with ground destruction, having massive holes done by mortars that you can use as cover, or even being able to create and dig your own trenches.
What do you guys think?
