A "bold remake" of 2000's Dragon Quest 7: Fragments of the Forgotten Past is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, Steam, and the Microsoft Store on Windows. It's simply called Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined and it makes use of a stunning hand-crafted 3D art style to bring the classic story to life for modern audiences.
In Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, players will experience the story of a young hero and his group of friends as they're sent back in time by an ancient tablet. Of course, it's not exactly sunshine and rainbows as malevolent forces sealed away entire lands. Together, the group attempts to find additional tablet pieces to open new routes to the past to take on these evil forces and reclaim their world.
It looks like Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined is retailing for $59.99. Of course, there's a Digital Deluxe Edition also available. The Digital Deluxe version is $74.99 and includes the game, three additional DLC packs, and the White Wolf Costume.
