  • Split Fiction Sales Surpass 1 Million in First 48-Hours

Seems like another success for Hazelight.
A split-screen view with a player on either side of the screen. The person on the left seems to be running on a wall while the person on the right is lounging in a big pool on a big innertube that looks like a donut with pink icing.

Hazelight Studios really seems to have found their groove in these co-op releases. Together with Electronic Arts, Hazelight announced that their latest co-op adventure, Split Fiction, has already sold over 1 million copies in its first 48-hours of availability.

That sounds like a decent start for the game. It follows word from Hazelight that their previous game, It Takes Two, sold over 23 million copies in total since its release in 2021. Split Fiction is also reportedly the first Electronic Arts title in nearly 13 years to score above 90 on MetaCritic.

The love you all show for our game is overwhelming! 😍
Everyone here at Hazelight are beyond happy - and we can’t stop enjoying your amazing reactions! 🤩
