  • Dune: Awakening Announces Support for Nvidia DLSS 4 and Next-gen Razer Chroma

The new Dune game will take advantage of newly announced technologies.

Funcom's Dune: Awakening is one of the first titles confirmed to make use of some of the new technologies and updates announced at CES 2025. These new technologies used in Dune: Awakening include Nvidia DLSS 4 and some next-gen Razer Chroma and Haptics integration.

Nvidia DLSS 4 will be released alongside the Nvidia 50 Series GPUs later this month. While the new DLSS Multi Frame Generation technology will be limited to that 50 Series, DLSS 4 will feature various improvements across the RTX series back to even the RTX 20 Series.

Razer apparently has new synced lighting and various haptic feedback devices coming. These devices include the Freyja HD haptic gaming cushion and the Kraken Pro headset. These will allow you to feel the gameplay, such as the rumble as a sandworm approaches or the kick of a rocket launcher as you fire it.

Dune: Awakening is expected to launch on PC in early 2025. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S releases are coming at a later date.

RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and New Game Ready Driver Released by Nvidia
      by Shawn Zipay
The new Nvidia 50 Series has officially launched.

The Nvidia RTX 50 Series is here with today's launch of the GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080. Naturally, the cards all seem to be sold out already across online retailers and brick-and-mortar stores. This was probably expected because it basically happens every single time. You could always just hit up sites like eBay where you'll see either scalpers attempting to sell the card at a hefty premium, or you'll find people selling...
