Nvidia dropped a news update today that shines a light on the truckload of upcoming games that will have ray tracing, path tracing, DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, dynamic multi-frame generation, or support for some combination of all of those features.
This news from Nvidia offers up some of the first looks of these new technologies running in these titles. For instance, we get a nice showing of path tracing for IO Interactive's 007 First Light and Remedy Entertainment's Control Resonant. Those are probably two of the bigger titles on this list, but there are still plenty of other titles here that will benefit from fancy tech as well.
Nvidia also shared that DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation will be made available starting on March 31. While DLSS 4.5 is already available for all RTX card owners, the Dynamic Multi Frame Generation won't drop until the end of the month. Users will have the option to opt-in to the latest beta for the Nvidia app. Additionally, the Dynamic Multi Frame Generation will only be available for GeForce RTX 50 Series owners.
This technology will dynamically (hence the name) adjust the number of generated frames in order to reach a user's desired frame rate. That is to say: In scenes that are more taxing on your system, the Frame Generation multiplier may increase to keep the framerate consistent. And obviously the reverse is true for scenes that aren't as heavy on the GPU.
007 First Light and Control Resonant are both coming this year and will include features such as path tracing and the whole DLSS 4.5 suite of features including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. New technology focused trailers can be found below.
A quick summary of the titles shown off can be found below. For the full details, including trailers and comparison shots, for every game listed, I strongly suggest heading over to Nvidia, as there is a lot of eye candy to see.
