Outcast - A New Beginning arrives well over 20 years after the release of the original Outcast. Today marks the release of this new action-adventure title, which can be yours on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. This is a full priced title, so expect to see it retail for $59.99 on PC and $69.99 on consoles.
The original Outcast came out in 1999 and offered players an action-adventure experience. This sequel continues the story of Cutter Slade as he "battles against invading forces to save the planet from devastation." The planet mentioned there is named Adelpha and it is full of "diverse landscapes" which you can traverse using a jetpack and special Talan powers. Of course, you will also have to fight off all sorts of dangerous creatures throughout your journey.
This sequel is developed by Appeal Studios, the same development studio that made the original 1999 release. Appeal Studios also developed 2017's Outcast: Second Contact and more recently released Gangs of Sherwood.
