Yep, that's a game from Hideo Kojima alright.
A baby looking cross-eyed at a ship it just burped up.

Despite having two other titles in development, including a new one for Sony, Kojima Productions is still working hard on Death Stranding 2. Today at Sony's latest State of Play showcase, we got a good, long look at Death Stranding 2 and wow is it ever the very definition of bizarre. Then again, would you really want to have it any other way from Hideo Kojima?

Before getting to the new trailer, it should be known that Death Stranding 2 now also has a release window: 2025. We also see that the full title is Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Furthermore, we see that as of right now there is only a PlayStation 5 version announced. With how the first Death Stranding eventually made its way to PC after about a year, it's not entirely unreasonable to expect a PC release at some point for Death Stranding 2 as well.

In related news, the original Death Stranding was just released on Apple hardware this week. If Death Stranding 2 follows the same release timing, Apple users can expect to see Death Stranding 2 hit their devices at some point in 2030.
