The latest mech combat title from FromSoftware came out this week. It's none other than Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, and it is the first new mainline Armored Core release since 2012's Armored Core 5.
This isn't a new Souls-like in disguise. The Armored Core games are very much their own thing, so don't think that just because you enjoy their Souls titles or Elden Ring that you will necessarily like Armored Core 6.
In Armored Core 6, players pilot a giant and very customizable mech as they do battle with other giant mechs in fast-paced combat. You've got your giant, over the top boss fights, plus omni-directional battles in big, open areas.
Armored Core 6 is available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
In addition to the release of the game itself, G Fuel announced a new energy drink flavor for Armored Core 6. This new flavor is called G Fuel EB-0309 Strider. This new flavor is up for pre-order and combines the flavors of Strawberry with Passion Fruit.
