    Game of Souls.

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director for some of FromSoftware's most notable releases and best-selling fantasy writer, George R.R. Martin, are teaming up for a brand new action-RPG title from FromSoftware. Martin may be better known as the author behind the fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire, which served as the basis for most of the entire Game of Thrones TV series. Miyazaki is best known for creating the various Souls titles, Bloodborne, and the recently released Sekiro.

Their joint venture is called Elden Ring, an "epic fantasy title" that...

Dark Souls: Remastered Out Today on the Nintendo Switch

It's now time for Nintendo Switch owners to die, die, and die some more. I, of course, am talking about dying in today's release of Dark Souls: Remastered for the Switch.
DARK SOULS: Remastered includes updated visuals and inclusion of the Artorias of the Abyss expansion bundled with the main game. Explore the twisted land of Lordran where tormented souls are lurking around every corner ready to put an end to a hard-fought journey. The unique portable nature of the Nintendo Switch means that players can level up their characters away from home in handheld mode and land the finishing blow of a boss fight on the couch in TV mode. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Revealed by FromSoftware

The mysterious new IP teased by FromSoftware last year, Shadows Die Twice, now has a full name and a full trailer reveal courtesy of Microsoft's E3 2018 conference earlier this week. The game is called Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and we'll say this right now: It's not Dark Souls and it's not Bloodborne. It's still an action-RPG though.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is slated to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Since Microsoft provided the world premiere look at the game, we should see what they have to say about it.
Sekiro wears its influences on its sleeve. At times it looks and plays like the legendary Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, letting players

Those of you who already own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on the PC will get a 50% off discount if you opt to purchase the Remastered version on Steam. Plus, on May 8 at 4PM (PT), Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will be delisted and replaced with Dark Souls: Remastered on Steam. Dark Souls: Remastered for Switch Delayed Until Summer

Dark Souls: Remastered for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC will still be released on May 25. The Nintendo Switch version was supposed to be out on that date as well but it looks like that date has been pushed back to "later this Summer."
The new release timing gives the development team the time needed to make sure Nintendo Switch players can fully appreciate the true DARK SOULS experience anytime and anywhere, thanks to the unique portable nature of the Nintendo Switch console.

Just chalk it up to the game needing more time for some polish before being released....

  • Dark Souls: Remastered Announced for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC

This should come as no surprise to those that read the rumor from late last night, but Dark Souls: Remastered was officially announced today. Really, the only thing that's different from the initial leak is the fact that the remaster is not a PlayStation 4 exclusive as initially thought. Instead, Dark Souls: Remastered will be released for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam on May 25, 2018.

Dark Souls Remastered Rumor Surfaces Following Release Date Photo Leak

According to a tweet made by @bdsassy on Twitter, not only is Dark Souls Remastered a potential game but it's also looking like it might be a PlayStation 4 exclusive.

In what looks like a photograph of a pre-order slip, the game lists "Dark Souls Remastered" for the PlayStation 4. The date indicates May 24, 2018, which may be the release date (at least in Japan).

Real? Fake? Why not the Xbox? Will the PC see any of the potential improvements too? WHERE IS THE DEMON'S SOULS REMASTER? These are all important questions that probably won't be answered....
