  • Armored Core 6 PC System Requirements

    They're less demanding then Elden Ring.
    Three giant battle mechs squaring off against each other in an industrial setting.

    The Steam listing for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon was updated with the PC system requirements for the game. The upcoming mech combat title by FromSoftware shows that it won't require the latest and greatest hardware to seemingly run well.

    Additional hardware details were also shared on the official Armored Core 6 website. The requirements share spec details for those playing with and without ray tracing. The raytracing in this game is limited to the Garage area where you tune and customize your mech before missions.

    Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon will be out on August 25 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

    Minimum requirements (RT off)
    • OS: Windows 10
    • Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K, Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 7 1800X, AMD Ryzen 5 2600
    • Memory: 12GB Ram
    • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 (4GB), AMD Radeon RX 480 (4GB)
    • DirectX: DirectX 12 (Feature Level 12.0)
    • Storage: 60GB
    • Sound Card: Windows Compatible Audio Device

    Recommended requirements (RT off)
    • OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11
    • Processor: Intel Core i7-7700, Intel Core i5-10400 / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, AMD Ryzen 5 3600
    • Memory: 12GB Ram
    • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB), AMD Radeon RX 590 (8GB), or Intel ARC A750 (8GB)
    • DirectX: DirectX 12 (Feature Level 12.0)

        The latest mech combat title from FromSoftware came out this week. It's none other than Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, and it is the first new mainline Armored Core release since 2012's Armored Core 5.

        This isn't a new Souls-like in disguise. The Armored Core games are very much their own thing, so don't think that just because you enjoy their Souls titles or Elden Ring that you will necessarily like Armored Core 6.
