Borderlands 3 launched back in 2019 and if you have been waiting to pick it up for whatever reason, your time has come. For the next week, you can pick up Borderlands 3 for free from the Epic Games Store.
It's only the base game that is available for free, but that's still a lot of game there without the Season Pass content. You have just one week, until May 26, to add Borderlands 3 to your library for free. Once you add it to your account, it's yours to keep forever.
Now, Borderlands 3 isn't exactly the best Borderlands game out there. The story and writing were easily its weakest components, but the gameplay changes such as sliding and mantling really added some welcome depth to the combat and traversal.
On the 26th, a new freebie will cycle in to replace Borderlands 3 on the Epic Games Store.
