Destiny 2 developer Bungie hasn't been a perfect studio, but they seem to make a good effort. Last night, Bungie took to Twitter and their website to speak out against the United States Supreme Court apparently getting ready to overturn Roe v. Wade. Roe v. Wade was hailed a "landmark decision" when it was enacted in 1973. At the time, it was ruled that women had a constitutional right to have an abortion without excessive government interference.
Roe v. Wade has now been around for nearly 50 years but is now at risk of being overturned. If this happens, it will be up to individual states to decide if a woman can or cannot have an abortion. As it stands, at least 22 states already have laws ready that will ban abortions, many of which were passed before Roe v. Wade was enacted. Some of these laws make no exceptions for pregnancies as a result of rape or incest.
