Sony just announced their planned release dates for the revamped PlayStation Plus options that were announced in late March. Those of you reading this from America (be it the North or South variant), will get access to the new version of PlayStation Plus on June 13, 2022.

Those living and playing in Asian markets (except Japan), will actually be the first in the world to get access to the new service on May 23, 2022. Japan will get it then on June 1, followed by the Americas on June 13, and then Europe on June 22.

As part of today's release date reveal, Sony also says that they are expanding their cloud streaming access to Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Keep in mind that full access to Sony's cloud streaming access is now included in the PlayStation Plus Premium tier, which is $17.99 (USD) monthly or $119.99 (USD) yearly.

The new version of PlayStation Plus offers three tiers for subscribers. The first, Essentials, keeps the price at $9.99 (USD) per month and provides the same benefits of current PlayStation Plus. The $14.99 tier, Extra, adds in access for up to 400 PS4 and PS5 games. The final tier, Premium, includes access for up to 700 games.
