Well, this is awkward. I went and put the important information in the headline. That means you don't have to read the rest of this news post because you already know that Season 2 for Halo Infinite will be out on May 3.

What can I do to fill this space now besides uselessly padding out this story so that I can get enough information in for the preview break? Oh, I know, I can let you know that there was also a new trailer released today announcing Season 2.

I can probably also tell you that the second season will be called "Lone Wolves." It will include new content like new maps, modes, themed limited-time events, and a new Battle Pass that has no expiration. Hey, here's hoping that new Battle Pass gives you rewards for just playing the game normally and isn't full of specific "do x, y, and z" crap that really killed any interest a lot of people had in playing.

The development team at 343 Industries also recently released a very long list of things they have learned from feedback during Season 1. This was broken down into two different parts, with part 1 here and part 2 here. It sounds like they're taking a ton of feedback to heart and are making some big changes to almost all areas of the multiplayer side of things.

Aw nuts, this actually ended up being fairly long and included some worthwhile information. I didn't need to pad this out at all! Oh well.
