The complaints have been heard.
Some weeks back, newer Insider builds for the Xbox consoles removed the ability to share screenshots and clips directly to Twitter. The only way you would be able to post to Twitter, would have been to first upload the screenshots to the Xbox app on your phone and then send out the Tweets from that.
Why was this feature removed in the first place? It's not really clear. All that was clear was that users were not happy about this change.
Fortunately, Microsoft heard the complaints loud and clear and have brought the feature back in the latest Xbox Insider update. Those of you not on the Insider builds probably won't notice anything different once the Insider build changes make it to the final release, at least so far as the social media sharing is concerned.
Xbox Insider Program Lead Brad Rossetti confirmed on Twitter that the feature was indeed restored.
