Square Enix released a new "Combat 101" trailer for Babylon's Fall that will give fans a little overview of the combat and various mechanics in the game. Players will get a look at some unique gameplay mechanics such as being able to dual wield weapons while also being able to make use of the power within their Gideon Coffin. This allows you to equip two additional spectral weapons.
In addition to this new combat focused trailer, seen below, Square Enix also revealed the first season's roadmap (seen above). This roadmap provides a look at some of the content coming to the game starting February 25 and through to May 31. This first season will add in new game modes, a new faction, new weapon type, new story content, new bosses, armor, quests, and more.
For this first season, the Premium Battle Pass will be free to all players.
The Season 1 content will include:
- Game modes
- Skirmish: Side quests where you will encounter mighty "Infamous enemies".
- Siege: Quests that change weekly and offer special rewards.
- Duel: Quests focused on battles against powerful bosses.
- Gauntlet: Quests where players compete to achieve the highest score on special stages.
- Additional faction: Molzamite
- Additional weapon type: Labrys
- New story content, new bosses, armor, quests and more!
Babylon's Fall is out on March 3 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
In BABYLON’S FALL players become a group of warriors known as the sentinels, bonded with special equipment called Gideon Coffins, and throw themselves into an odyssey to overcome the titanic Tower of Babylon, within which sleeps a great legacy. In addition to weapons wielded in both hands, characters can use the power of their Gideon Coffin to equip two more, allowing for combinations of up to four weapons at once. The capabilities of different equipment will also bring endless variation to the strategy that can be employed. The game’s visuals are achieved using a newly developed “brushwork style” to create a unique fantasy setting with a medieval oil painting aesthetic.
Featuring fluid co-op-combat, powerful weapons and a unique, striking art style, the epic world of BABYLON’S FALL can be played solo or in parties up to four**. Following the launch, BABYLON’S FALL will continue to be supported with new game modes, ongoing story content, and additional weapon types at no additional cost.

The demo gives players access to the opening section of the game where both single player and four player cross-play co-op can be experienced for free. All progress and achievements will be carried over to the full version of the game on PlayStation platforms following the official launch on March 3. Those who pre-order BABYLON’S FALL Digital Deluxe Edition will receive early access to the full game on February 28.
