Hogwarts Legacy looks like it might be released at some point after April 15, 2022. This news comes via a Toy World magazine interview (courtesy of Reddit) with Warner Bros. general manager Rachel Wakley. Wakley said that the anticipated open-world action-RPG will arrive some time after the theatrical release of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, which is slated to arrive on that aforementioned April 15th date.

Wakley specifically talked about "two major releases" happening in 2022. The first of which is Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The second is none other than Hogwarts Legacy, which was actually delayed back in January 2021.

"The second major release of 2022 will be for a new console game: Hogwarts Legacy. The reaction to the trailer has been amazing and it looks set to be a huge success. We know that gaming is such an important part of the market and one that we had to be involved in. From what we've seen, the launch will be well worth the wait and will deliver a unique way for fans to interact with the franchise."
Hogwarts Legacy was first announced during Sony's PlayStation 5 event in September 2020. The game is currently in development by Portkey Games (a division of WB Games) and Avalanche Software. It is expected to be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Since we really do not have any fresh media to share with you, here is the reveal trailer once again.

Whether or not you decide to support this game given J.K. Rowling's involvement is up to you to decide.
