Last-gen Versions of Hogwarts Legacy Delayed by a Month

The release shifts from April to May.

Though Hogwarts Legacy has been out for a little while now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, the last-gen release was nowhere to be seen. That's because that last-gen version was expected to be out on April 4, 2023. Now, that April release has been pushed back further, meaning that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners won't get to play until May 5, 2023.

Having NPCs verbalize in-game hints on how to solve puzzles really isn't a new idea. There have long been clues provided on puzzle solutions be they spoken by other game characters, provided in the environment, highlighted with some "sense" ability, or something else. As you are probably aware by now, Hogwarts Legacy was released into "early access" on Tuesday, February 7 for those that had pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game. Priced at $70 (USD; $80 for consoles), this Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy gave players a three-day jump on their adventures and also offers some various in-game items.
