PC users that prefer to use Steam have a good reason to celebrate today as World War Z is finally available on a platform that isn't the Epic Games Store (still gonna post my affiliate link though). Today, World War Z: Aftermath is out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Epic Games Store, and for the first time ever on Steam.

There is backwards compatibility for the game allowing it to be played on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as well. However, if you want to wait for the official PS5 and Series X|S releases, that will happen in 2022. There will be a free upgrade for existing owners of the game on previous-gen consoles.

World War Z: Aftermath is available for a going price of $39.99 (USD). Those that own the original World War Z on platforms that aren't Steam can pick up the Aftermath upgrade for $19.99. There is also a Deluxe Edition of Aftermath for $49.99 that includes an Explorer Weapon Skins Pack, and two bonus melee weapons: Sledgehammer and Dual Cleavers.
