Five virtual showings await fans.

Ariana Grande will officially kick off Fortnite's Rift Tour starting on August 6. Epic Games will host five separate virtual performances of Ariana Grande within Fortnite from August 6 through August 8. This confirms a report from late July that suggested Grande would be the next major performer to grace the Fortnite battlefield.

There won't just be some virtual shows to attend within Fortnite. There will also be an Ariana Grande outfit and a Piggy Smallz Back Bling that you can purchase from the Item Shop starting August 4. If you don't want to spend a penny, you can still pick up a freebie just for attending the Rift Tour. Those that watch the show will get a Cuddly Cloudcruiser umbrella to use.

I wouldn't go into this expecting some vanilla concert viewing experience. Last year, hip-hop superstar Travis Scott gave a virtual performance within Fortnite unlike anything ever seen before. Scott reportedly took home a $20 million (USD) paycheck for his virtual performance.

A listing of all show times can be found below. Epic suggests that fans "arrive in Fortnite 60 minutes before showtime. The actual "Rift Tour Playlist" will then be live 30 minutes before each show. Below the showtimes are a couple of trailers for the event, with the second one focusing on the cosmetic items you can pick up.
