It was missing for about six months.
Today is a big day for CD Projekt Red. The studio seems pretty excited to announce that starting today, Cyberpunk 2077 is once again available for sale through the PlayStation Store.
In case you forgot, Cyberpunk 2077 was pulled from the PlayStation Store about six months ago. Since then, CD Projekt Red has been pretty hard at work releasing a boat load of updates to try to fix the game. The latest of which came just this past week with the release of Patch 1.23. CDPR notes that even though the game is again available for sale, the base PlayStation 4 platform will still have performance issues. They recommend playing on the PlayStation 4 Pro or PlayStation 5 for the best experience.
Alongside today's reinstatement into the PlayStation Store, CDPR announced that a free PlayStation 5 upgrade is coming in the second half of 2021. It will be available to everyone that owns the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
