Microsoft is rolling out the big May update for the Xbox Series X|S and with it comes a little blast from the past. Included in this update is a dynamic background that mimics the original Xbox dashboard animation.

For those of you with the update already, you can find the old-school looking dynamic background listed as "The Original." If you don't remember the original Xbox dashboard, you may be surprised to find out that this theme is very, very green.

The May 2021 update for the Xbox Series X|S are improvements to the Quick Resume feature, that feature improved reliability, faster load times, and the ability to group games together.
