During a recent panel with the Apex Legends developers at Respawn, Game Director Chad Grenier made it clear to fans that there will be a "ton of Titanfall" content coming to Apex in Season 9.

For those that are unaware, Titanfall and Apex Legends share the same universe. Of course, outside of some weapons and gear, there really isn't too much crossover between the two games that would make that shared universe explicitly clear. During the panel, Apex Legends Senior Writer Ashley Reed said that the games are very closely connected.

She says that "what's going on in Titanfall is a war" whereas "Apex is what happens after the war." The real meat and potatoes of the shared universe idea came from Grenier's follow-up comment.

"Next season, Season 9, you're actually going to see a ton of Titanfall coming back into the game in one way or another. So, I've told some people before, if you're a Titanfall fan hang on for Season 9."
Does this mean that Titans will appear in Apex Legends? Well, kind of. At least if rumors are to be believed. Respawn says that there are no plans to add in Titans proper, you know, ones that can be controlled by the player. However, some leaks indicate that an upcoming character, Blisk, can call in an A.I. controlled Titan to act as a sort of turret. Blisk was a character in Titanfall, so this would make a lot of sense in the whole shared universe idea.
