Electronic Arts and EA Sports revealed some of the new features coming in EA Sports Madden NFL 25. These are the features that are specifically for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of the game. The older consoles (PS4, XB1) will not have these features.
Madden NFL 25 will bring back FieldSENSE when it launches on August 16. Except this time, the FieldSENSE has been updated a bit. Also coming in Madden NFL 25 is the new BOOM Tech, which is "a dynamic physics-based tackling system that unlocks the reengineered Hit Stick and a new level of ball carrier control." This year's release also boasts "completely revamped visuals and presentation" on the newer platforms and two additional commentary teams for "new levels of NFL authenticity and immersion."
EA Sports also says that Madden NFL 25 will "receive more post-launch live service updates across the game than ever before." It's not clear what this will entail, but it could safely be assumed to be faster roster updates, bug fixing updates, and possibly additional content for some of the game modes.
