It's been roughly two years since Atomic Heart was announced and ever since then the developers at Mundfish have been quite quiet. We've seen maybe a tiny morsel of information here and there but today that changes with the first new trailer in ages.

Today, a new trailer was released by both Nvidia and Mundfish that show off the RTX support featured in Atomic Heart.

Atomic Heart is an action-RPG that takes place in an alternate reality universe where the USSR "succeeded" in many of its experiments. Technological breakthroughs like the Internet, robots, and holograms have already occurred, only now they're steeped in "communism, imperialism and confrontation with the West."

The protagonist of the game, a Soviet Special Duty KGB officer, ends up at one of the Complexes of the Facility 3826 during a massive robot control system malfunction. The game world consists of huge open-world regions full of lush Soviet nature and less spacious territories of the Facility complexes with its secret underground and above-ground labs, bunkers and robotic logistics systems. Most of the enemies are a variety of machines produced at the Facility. Each robot was originally made to serve the needs of the Soviet industry or to help Soviet citizens in a daily life. The robots are implemented with a combat program that should be activated in case of a war.
A release date has not yet been set for Atomic Heart. We do know that Atomic Heart is in development for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game does have a Steam page currently live if you wish to add it to your Steam Wishlist.
