Ninja Theory is cooking up some photorealistic recreations.

Besides working on Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, Ninja Theory has been busy working on something they're calling Project: Mara. You may have already seen some of their behind-the-scenes videos for Project: Mara but you ain't seen anything like today's episode.

In this third episode of The Dreadnought Diaries, Ninja Theory shows off what it takes to capture reality and turn it into a digital environment. The team is calling this their "most ambitious and realistic game setting ever."

The latest trailer shows the art process behind Project: Mara. The team explains how they provide depth to things that would otherwise be flat in most other games out there. It also shows comparisons between the real-world version of the apartment the game takes place in and its digital doppelganger. It's a very interesting video that shows how much attention to detail the team is putting in to this experience.
