The promised VR mode is coming very soon.
When Microsoft Flight Simulator was released there was a virtual reality mode promised for the game. We did not know exactly when that VR mode would be released for quite some time, but we now know. VR support for Microsoft Flight Simulator will arrive on December 22.
There is no platform exclusivity on this release. In addition, the update will be free to everyone that owns the game.
This update will arrive ahead of the next planned content update for the game. That next world update for the game will focus on the area of Great Britain. It will add around 60 new points of interest including new airports. That particular update is scheduled to drop on January 28. The previous update that dropped before Thanksgiving, focused on refining a number of locations throughout the United States.
