Originally, CD Projekt Red was going to reveal their DLC plans for Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of the game's release. Like with most things concerning this game, it seems as though this has also been postponed to a later date. Now, the plan seems to be that we will learn about the post-release DLC plans for Cyberpunk 2077 only after the game is released on December 10th.

This news originally came via CD Projekt Red's quarterly earnings call this past Wednesday. The reason for the delay was offered up by CD Projekt Red's president Adam Kicinski. He says that he and the team have decided to wait for the game to be released in order to "provide games with the game and then start talking about future projects."

One of those future projects is the game's multiplayer component. Though it isn't considered to be any of the planned DLC mentioned above, it is a component that will arrive after the game's launch. At present, a firm release date for the multiplayer component to Cyberpunk 2077 has not yet been revealed. The studio says that they will release information about the multiplayer in the first quarter of 2021. We know already that the multiplayer component will be a standalone release and is looking to be out possibly in 2022.
