This War of Mine from 11 bit studios is now available for a free weekend on Steam. This free weekend will last until November 16th.

In addition to this free weekend on PC, those of you on the Nintendo Switch are getting a "significant" update to the game. Today, This War of Mine: Complete Edition on the Switch finishes its release with the final two Stories episodes.

These episodes, The Last Broadcast and Fading Embers are more story-focused than the base game. Both stories "touch on complicated dilemmas as players step into the shoes of a lone radio operator exploring the role of truth in a time of despair, and a young girl that must decide between the survival of a man or his cultural heritage."

This is not a game you go into to have a happy-go-lucky time. Just, you know, think about that before you dive into the free weekend or the new update on the Switch.

Discounts on This War of Mine will run until the 16th on PC and November 30th on the Nintendo Switch.
