Arriving just in time for some Halloween delights.
Amnesia Rebirth

Frictional Games just released a new trailer today that announces the release date for the horror sequel many have have been eagerly awaiting, Amnesia: Rebirth. The release date is set for October 20 for the PC and PlayStation 4.

Pre-orders for the game are already live on Epic Games Store (affiliate link), Steam, GOG.com, and the PlayStation Store. It looks like the normal price will be $29.99 (USD), but some stores are offering a -10% pre-order discount. PlayStation Store is offering a discount to PS Plus subscribers instead.

This latest trailer takes us even further into the story than we have ever gone. We join the protagonist, Tasi Trianon, as she journeys through the "desolate landscape of the Algerian desert." She will do battle against her pain and her fears as she seeks out answers. From the sounds of things, there will be elements of a survival game included with Amnesia: Rebirth.

Amnesia: Rebirth will take players through a wide variety of uncanny environments, from scorched deserts and dark caves to forgotten ruins and alien landscapes. They must learn how to carefully explore the surroundings to find the clues they need while managing essential resources to keep Tasi alive and dig up the truth.
The developer does promise that this "will not be your run-of-the-mill horror experience."
