Date moved to coincide with launch of next-gen Xbox.
It looks as though the first game to adjust their release to coincide with the launch of the Xbox Series X/S has been revealed. Ubisoft announced a short time ago today that they are moving up the release of Assassin's Creed Valhalla to November 10.
That date just happens to be the same date that Microsoft revealed to be the launch of the Xbox Series X and Series S. Imagine that.
Now, they say that it will be released on this date for the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and PC. What they don't mention there is that it's also coming to the PlayStation 5. As it stands, the PlayStation 5 does not yet have a release date or price. Kind of hard to say that Valhalla will be out on November 10 for the PS5 if the system itself may not be out by then.
Also of note is the fact that Ubisoft will have Assassin's Creed Valhalla running at a smooth 60FPS at full 4K resolution on the Series X.
