Last week came brought us the Spellsword class reveal for Kingdom Under Fire 2. This week is the reveal of the Berserker class for the upcoming MMO meets real-time strategy game.
What does the Berserker bring to the table? This class comes out of the gate being "fueled by the power of dark rage." Ah, I see.
The Berserker will unleash "unholy wrath and strikes fear into the hearts of enemies across the battlefield." Charming.
Berserkers will have a massive health pool and "stands out for his brute force" on the battlefield. Attacks are powered by his rage and defense is handled by the use of a shield if needed. From the sounds of it, the Berserker seems a lot like the tried and true "warrior" class type seen in most other games.
There will undoubtedly be some more class reveals coming in the weeks ahead.
Kingdom Under Fire 2 was first announced back in 2008. This game combines MMORPG game mechanics with RTS style gameplay. The game is still in active development from Blueside and will be released soon. Though there doesn't seem to be a definitive release date yet, you can pre-order one of three different packages to secure your copy. These packages are priced at $29.99 (USD), $49.99, and $99.99.
