This update opens up Southern Elsweyr. It includes a new story zone along with three unique biomes. There are new delves, world bosses, quests, Dragon hunts, and more to play through. Players can access this content by either purchasing Dragonhold for 2,000 Crowns (in-game currency) or by being an ESO Plus member. This paid content was released alongside Update 24, which is free to everyone. This is the first wave of a few planned performance improvements coming to the game. This first update includes a memory management overhaul. It also includes the first phase of combat ability performance improvements, and a complete redesign of the LFG (looking for group) system.
Full details on the performance update plans can be found here.
Zenimax Online Studios also announced that they are still continuing the charity efforts to raise money for two charities. The charities are Best Friends Animal Society and FOUR PAWS. Slay some dragons to help save the cats. Helping towards this cause is super easy.
The rage of Dragons has brought its fire and fury to the ruined region of Southern Elsweyr, and the people of this once-great kingdom fight to survive. The monstrous Dragon Kaalgrontiid, bolstered with all-new allies, returns more powerful than ever. In Dragonhold, you must stand with Sai Sahan, restore the Dragonguard, and together, finally put an end the Season of the Dragon year-long adventure!
