A game based on a film, what could go wrong?
A new game based on the upcoming film, Zombieland: Double Tap, is currently in development from High Voltage Software. The game is appropriately called Zombieland: Double Tap - Road Trip and is inspired by the story, characters, humor, and horror from the first Zombieland film and its upcoming sequel.
Zombieland: Double Tap - Road Trip will be released on October 15, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It is a top-down twin-stick shooter featuring local co-op for up to four players. You can play as Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock. There will also be new unlockable characters from the sequel.
In addition to more traditional weapons, players will make use of special abilities to take down the legions of the undead. All of this is played out over the course of a story-based campaign mode, a wave-based horde mode, plus a variety of daily and weekly challenges.
