DUSTNET is a new multiplayer deathmatch game that simultaneously resurrects and completely reimagines Dust2. And yes, when I say "Dust2" I am very much talking about de_dust2 from Counter-Strike. Only, this isn't Counter-Strike, or is it?

DUSTNET allows cross-platform play between those on PC, those playing in VR, and those using augmented reality (AR). Players go back to the ruins of an old server that is forever stuck on de_dust2. The game has changed. The world is a sandbox and what you can do is determined by how you choose to access the game (PC, VR, or AR).

Some players can edit the map. Some will come together to work as a team. Others may try to claim parts of the map for themselves. It's a game that's hard to explain in words, but perhaps the trailer (seen below) will help you to understand.

As you can probably guess, the mobile releases are free and are considered the "companion apps" for the game. The mobile apps will be how you access the game using augmented reality. The Steam and Itch.io releases are how you access the PC versions of the game and, if you have a VR device, the VR versions.
