The first major season for Apex Legends is now available. Respawn is calling this season "Wild Frontier" and with it comes a bunch of "seasonal swag" for players to earn. It also comes alongside the release of the Wild Frontier Battle Pass.
The Battle Pass comes in two flavors. The first, priced at 950 Apex Coins, grants you access to the Pass. Play to level the Pass up to get more rewards. You can also spend 2,800 Apex Coins to get the Battle Pass Bundle that includes the Pass and a shortcut that unlocks the first 25 levels instantly.
As with pretty much everything else available for sale in this game, this Seasonal content is all cosmetic. This includes new weapon skins, banner frames, and XP boosts. Seeing as how the XP boosts only lead to even more cosmetic unlocks, even that doesn't have any real gameplay impact. Purchasing the Pass will net you three Wild Frontier skins immediately.
One of the biggest additions in Season 1 is the addition of a new Legend. The latest character is called Octane.
