Wait, I've heard this one before...

The latest update for the competitive shooter, The Finals, is adding in space for another player slot. The game, which is traditionally 3v3v3, will soon have a new 5v5 game mode courtesy of the latest update arriving on May 2.

The new update will in the Terminal Attack game mode. This 5v5 tactical mode will see a team of attackers trying to deposit cash into a terminal on the map with a decryption key. The other team will try to stop that attacking team.

This mode is the best of seven rounds, where destruction persists between rounds. Players have one life, limited health regen, zero respawns, and with both healing beams and defibrillators disabled. I see the team for The Finals is trying to pull in that Counter-Strike crowd with this one.

Terminal Attack will be released alongside Update 2.6.0. Both of these will be out on Thursday, May 2. The changelog for Update 2.6.0 has not yet been released, otherwise it would be shared below.
