Earlier today, word broke that both Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution will be getting the HD treatment for current generation consoles. On January 11, 2019, Hitman HD Enhanced Collection will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

It will include resolutions of up to 4K at 60FPS. In addition, WBIE and Io Interactive say that the games will include increased texture resolution, better texture formats, super-sampling, upscale support, heightened shadow map resolutions, better mirror resolutions, improved lighting, and updated controls.

Relive some of Agent 47’s most iconic hits in Hitman: Blood Money and experience a globe-trotting adventure from the vineyards of Chile, to the Paris Opera House and even the White House itself in a face-off against a group of assassins known as “The Franchise.”

Rediscover the cinematic story of Hitman: Absolution and experience the deep and personal story of Agent 47 as he pursues redemption across 20 intense missions. Enjoy a distinctive art style that combines with rich dialogue and performances by an impressive Hollywood cast to create a unique gameplay experience.
Right now, there is absolutely no word about Hitman HD Enhanced Collection coming to the PC. Now for some even worse news: The retail price for this HD collection is $59.99 (USD). I'll leave it up to you to decide of an HD-ified release of two games is worth your money or not.
