The World of Assassination takes on a whole new life.

Today, Hitman 3 becomes Hitman World of Assassination. This means that one purchase will get you access to Hitman 1, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3 through the existing Access Pass system. This move to Hitman World of Assassination is a free upgrade for all of those that owned Hitman 3 prior.

In addition, a completely new game mode was released today. The mode is called Hitman Freelancer and it is available for free to everyone...

There is also a new name for Hitman 3.

IO Interactive is renaming Hitman 3 to Hitman World of Assassination. Along with this change is word that those that own Hitman 3, soon Hitman World of Assassination, get free access to both Hitman and Hitman 2 from the World of Assassination trilogy. This free upgrade will be available to everyone on all platforms starting January 26, 2023.

It's already been a week since the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection was announced, which means today is the day that it is released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This two pack of games includes updated versions of Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution.

It looks like IO Interactive found a new publisher for HITMAN and that publisher is none other than Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. This deal between the two companies will have WBIE publishing the physical retail release of HITMAN: Definitive Edition for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting on May 15, 2018.
