We all love massive game mods, especially when they hold nothing back. Thankfully, the mod scene for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is still very much alive and kicking as we're about to find out. A Skyrim mod team has been hard at work creating a mod called "Beyond Skyrim: Morrowind - The New North," or "The New North," or even "Beyond Skyrim" for short. In a broader sense, Beyond Skyrim will be a collection of mods that bring most major areas of Tamriel together in one mod package. Today's reveal is for Morrowind.

The first ever look at this mod came out just yesterday by way of an announcement trailer. We get our first look at a bunch of new areas and hear a bit about the lore tie-in. This mod aims to add in locations from Morrowind, including Bleakrock Isle and Sheogorad. It will also include new quests with full voice work, new locations, dungeons, equipment, and more.

Right now, the team says that they have no scheduled release date. However, they say that they are looking to provide more game updates by way of livestreams and even some beta testing at some point in the near future. The team is also looking for additional volunteers to help out with the mod.
